We need to work on getting rid of Senator Arlen Specter. |
|
Arlen is spending to much time trying to save the skin of an admitted pervert. He was sent to Washington to represent the people of Pennsylvania, not to become the legal council of a Republican Senator who plead guilty to a crime. Senator Specter needs to stay out of this and do the job he was elected for. Since he can't seem to do that we need to find a candidate that can defeat him in 2010.

2. I doubt Snarlin Arlen will run again in 2010--he's pretty dang old, and |
|
the GOP will likely threaten to "primary" him anyway.

5. I confess that I don't see why Specter is defending Larry Craig (don't go there) |

I will admit that I have a more favorable view of Snarlin' Arlen than most on DU, if for no reason other than the Republican opponents he's beaten in primaries have been brain-damaged, knuckle-dragging, cousin-marrying freaks with prehensile tails and long fingernails, who still haven't discovered fire and would have done far more harm than Specter's done. Nevertheless, I cannot see why he's defending Craig.

7. Why would Arlen Spector protect Larry Craig? |
|
I dunno, probably for the same reasons he protected John F. Kennedy's murderers with that wacky "magic bullet theory" of his when working on the Warrren Commission in 1964.
Hey, don't be so hard on old Arlen "Magic Bullet" Spector. He's only doing what his masters have told him to do. He is a faithful servant.
Loyal dogs get rewarded with frequent pats on the head and lifetime job security. He'll stay in the Senate until he's 105 years old. Wait and see.
