Karl Rove Attacks On Hillary Clinton Could Build Up Her Image

Washington D.C. 9/11/2007 10:02 AM GMT

An articles published by the LA Times suggest that the attacks of Karl Rove on Senator Hillary Clinton could actually build up the image of the lady senator instead of vanquishing her. According to the LA Times, Rove could inadvertently project Clinton as someone he fears that is why he is vent on attacking her. Some political observers believe that the way Rove attacks Clinton is just like egging the Democrats to rally the Democrats behind her. Note that the Democrats rallied against Rove in 2004 and there is no stopping them from doing the same thing again this coming election. Democrats are known to protect their own thus there is a big possibility that they will most likely take her side and boost her chances of winning the presidential election.

Hillary Clinton is constantly sitting around 40% in the national polls according to the polls posted on USAElectionPolls.com and in a crowded field of eight candidates, it makes it difficult to see who could compete with her. Thus, the Republican attacks ensue.

Aside from egging the Democrats to support Clinton, other people who hear the way Rove lambasted Clinton may be more inclined to support Clinton. According to political observers, the other voters who hear the way Rove attacked Clinton may be more inclined to sympathize with the lady senator. The possibility that voters will react like Democratic activists and rally behind Clinton thinking that there must something really interesting about Clinton that Rove has to spend time and energy discrediting her. Note that Rove is the top strategist of the Bush administration thus people will naturally connect the way Rove attacks Clinton to the idea that the White House is afraid of Clinton and send one of its best to demolish her.

2. Oh give me a break!
They are practically INTENDED to bring up her image. Rove is still helping the republican party and raising Hillary is useful. No candidate the Democrats field has a greater chance of suppressing their own base as much as Hillary, and no candidate more than Hillary will actually excite and incite the republican base.

She is the best thing that could possibly happen to the republicans.

3. We heard of the "Colbert Bump" now there's the Rove bump....
The man knows what's he's doing. Maybe he wanted to thank the Clintons for the Iraqi Freedom Act of 1998, or for advising the senate to vote yes to the IRW.

Maybe it was a thank you for not taking back our military after Cheney handed it over to Halliburton during the Gulf War.

...No more Bushes, no more Clintons
