9. Will The Name Help Or Hurt |
|
Considering that the outgoing GOP Senator in VA is also named Warner, one must wonder if having the same last name will help or hurt our candidate
Of course, it's my understanding that Mark Warner is quite popular in Virginia. I was a little disappointed he didn't run for President.

11. John Warner still has high ratings in VA, 57% as of Aug |
|
so I don't think the name will hurt Mark at all.

15. Warner should be running for governor |
|
I understand what he's doing, but this leaves nobody for the 2009 gov. race. The Repukes will have an awful candidate.

16. Um... isn't the current VA governor a Democrat? |
|
And one who is up for re-election, I might add?
So, why would Mark Warner run for governor?

18. Yes, Warner could not succeed himself after 1 term. VA is the only state that has this lame law. |
|
But he could have run again in 2009.
