2. Edwards beats those numbers. |
|
He beats Giuliani 49 to Giuliani's 41 (8 points). He is 50% to Huckabee's 33% (17 points), Edwards 45% to McCain's 41% (4 points), Edwards 49% to Romney's 38% (11 points), and Edwards 49% to Thompson's 35% (14 points). Edwards' positives are 52% and his negatives only 41% (a difference of 11 points).
In contrast, Clinton's positives are 49%. Her negatives are also 49%. No difference. She is only the 3 points over Giuliani, 2 points over Thompson and 4 over Romney.
Edwards is the most electable candidate. Obama is close to Edwards.

7. So what. He is not having a rough time against Republicans nationwide. |
|
Compared to him, Hillary is having a real tough time against Republicans nationwide. And her negatives are so bad, they mean trouble. I don't think she can surmount the obstacle to election that her negatives pose.

9. I am willing to bet that any of the democrats would beat them |
|
The republican crowd are a bunch of keystone kops. War, abortion, tax cuts and, "Im Ronald Reagan. No, Im Ronald Reagan." All are basically GW Bush clones, or worse.
