interview with Tucker on the ME visit and also the interview on Syrian TV. You cannot start diplomatic talks by bashing the leader on TV, you can do that behind closed doors.

What Candidate has ever taken on the media. Says he'd break up the Media Conglomerates. Dennis says we need to rescue our Constitution by breaking up the Monoplies and he mentions the Media drumbeat to war...we wouldn't have gone into Iraq if there had been more voices.

For about 20 years now. Nevermind that the media monopolists use their holdings to swing elections, propagandize and deceive (as terrible as all that is), I wanted it all broken up the day I was acquainted with the reality that they are FRIKKIN' PUBLIC AIRWAVES.

They already ARE yours and mine! As much as a national park or a seashore.

Bust it all up. Yesterday or sooner!

Edited on Wed Sep-12-07 12:35 PM by FredStembottom
I didn't realize how much I needed to look ahead.

I have always said that, based on his policy stances, Nader was the best candidate for me. BUT... I am a party-line voter, believing that we reform the Democratic Party from inside. When Nader went Independent, he became a spoiler and lost my support.

Now, today, I realize that DK is the new Nader BUT with the all-important distinction that he is the reformer from inside that I was looking for!

This is the man. I will act on my hopes from now on and move towards that non-profit health care / NAFTA withdrawal / Iraq peace-keeping / non-evil future that he offers us.

For cryin' out loud, folks - our greatest Dem president couldn't even walk!
What's wrong with us that we can't support funny hair?!?!:toast:

Edited on Wed Sep-12-07 12:59 PM by KoKo01
Poll Pott (the new Pavarotti) was a mobile phone salesman who isn't very attrative looking but managed to win the British equavalent of American Idol with his performance. Kucinich and his wife compare him to Poll Pott...who managed to overcome his difficulties and succeed. I thought that was incredible for them to say..(knowing that many think he's not electable because of his looks and small stature)..

So sad...that his looks and height are a disadvantage... Look at that struting ass we have in thw WH who can't speak a literate sentence...but because his family is "entitled" he squats in the People's House.

I think that's bullshit spin from the media.

Nixon didn't lose that debate because he was unattractive, it's because he wasn't a good communicator. JFK was more eloquent.

I'm not buying the crap the media spews. Americans would clamor to vote for the only guy who would get us out of NAFTA & the WTO.

I understand this is on in the day and hard to listen to streaming unless you work from home...but we really don't hear good interviews with any of our candidates with sharp questioning.
