never thought I'd agree with Pat Buchanan

but FINALLY someone is questioning the pundits who keep saying that JRE needs to "go negative" to have a chance.

PB is saying "why should he? what he's doing is working for him!"

he's on Chris Matthews MSNBC right now.

1. I like Buchanan
I've liked what he's had to say about this primary. He's giving real commentary. Joe Scarborough is saying Edwards needs to go negative because he's a plant, an unprincipled weasel who is giving advice to help Bush, not Edwards. Buchanan is a paleo-con, he's got real convictions, he criticises Bush when real conservatives should be criticising him, and I appreciate that.

3. "Kerry's not going to coast from here on out"
but Buchanan still thinks JK will win the nomination.

4. The trouble with Pat
is that he mixes in bits of truth within his insanity.

Kinda like a clean cut Manson :D

He sticks to his guns, and he isn't a phony.

What you see is what you get.

He isn't a bullshitter or ass-kisser.

Still think most of his ideas are a bit wacko, though
