Fred Thompson drops out??
Edited on Wed Sep-12-07 02:08 PM by MonteLukast
Is it true what I just heard on Thom Hartmann about 15 minutes ago? That Fred Thompson is bowing out of the race after one week??

I know that Tommy Thompson is out as of August 12th.
But if it is indeed Fred gone, too... let's just say, Thom's comments were absolutely precious, if you were lucky enough to hear them. Lots of mention of Fred's laziness and very undistinguished, unproductive career as a Senator.

Will be keeping very wide eyes open for this one.

2. He was reading satirist Andy Borowitz's piece posted today at his site.
Andy writes some very funny stuff--I'm on his list and get his columns on a regular basis. Love his satire--Thom does, too, reads it often on his show. However, 'twould be great if it were true. Thompson is a big zero, IMHO.

3. I expect him to bow out after a couple of primaries
if he doesn't win big.

He's a sick man. I think this run has more to do with an ambitious wife than it does with his own ambition.

Slogging on to the bitter end might kill him.
