MIchael Isikoff thinks McConnell's lie was an error...not a lie
As you may have already heard, Intelligence czar Mike McConnel told Americans that warrantless spying helped thwart a terror plot in Germany. Now we learned that he lied, thanks to the NY Times and Newsweek Michael Issikoff and Mark Hosenball.
But I'm irked by the reluctance by the mainstream media to call a lie what it is: A lie.
Mike McConnel has too much information in his hand to have made an honest "error". Republicans keep on lying and the media is their accomplice.
