Whether Kerry still wins or not... |
|
the media will declare Edwards a winner. Expect him to be their new golden boy over the next few weeks.

4. That's true. John Kerry came out now and has..... |
|
critisized the way that Bush has handled Iraq. The way that Iraq is going it is better to have someone who like the American People supported the war at first and are now critical. John Kerry has offered an alternative to Bush's failures.

11. While the war is the most important issue here at DU, do you think it is.. |
|
in mainstream America? I don't think it is.
The most important issue is this: jobs and the economy. On that issue, Edwards can articulate clear policy differences from Bush. Kerry cannot.
I hate the war and I hated the Patriot Act. I also hate Bush. But I'm not going to let that cloud my judgment about the most important issue: the economy. And regardless of the candidate, I don't think any of the Democratic candidates would embark on the same imperialistic course that Bush and his PNAC crowd. Thus, for me, the war issue is only a backburner.

What he has done tonight is to PROVE that Kerry's nomination is not inevitable.

6. Yes, plus who the winner is may be a matter of only a few hundred votes... |
|
... And Edwards and Kerry may take to Boston the exact same number of Delegates from WI. Plus, I imagine if this was an IRV, Edwards would have won outright

No matter how the Kerry campaign spins tonight, it's a HUGE victory for Sen. Edwards and everyone else who is not ready for this process to end! :)

But I don't see Dean being in it much longer.
