Chris Dodd Supporters Group

I think that Chris Dodd deserves a supporters group. He is very clear that restoring our constitutional rights is his immediate priority and I have not heard anyone else press this point as forcefully.

I am supporting Obama myself, but Chris Dodd would be my second choice.

1. I'm with you. Dodd has been listening to us and deserves support.

I'm closing in on Dodd and Obama if Gore doesn't run. Open government MATTERS whether Bushes and Clintons like it or not.

2. Dodd does a great job advocating

for civil liberties and constitutional rights. When they do good they should be recognized. There is something that is not fashionable about Dodd's image and he gets ignored. Often when I have heard lists of the Dem contenders his name is left off. The idea of him not having a supporters group here in DU is not good. He was on with Robert Kennedy on Ring of Fire this past weekend.

He has been vocal on Iraq and Military Commissions, and has interesting views and programs in some places where few candidates venture, like young kids education and IDEA.

FWIW, I'm pretty much with blm in terms of how I'm thinking about 2008 (as much as I can stand to think about it at all, as I've been utterly frustrated, and depressed, by the whole dynamic of the race so far :-( .. the money, the timing, the usual shallow coverage by the MSM, the cant, the celebrity thing. . ). Anyway, Dodd's been bringing up some important stuff, and he deserves to be listened to.
