Kerry giving a great speech |
|
He's talking jobs first, for once. That's taking a stab at Edwards's strengths, and going right into the living rooms of the midwest and south.
His defense of real patriotism is great as always.
But I must say, I like Edwards's style. He gets in my head real quick and easily.
regardless.... three words are best!
BRING IT ON!
wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

24. He wasn't talking to Edwards, |
|
He was talking to that crap nothing war-mongering Bush bullshit shown off on all the channels earlier today. That's JK's strength - head on vs. the real enemy.

Too bad Kerry used his tiny lead to preempt Edwards' speech.

17. Another GREAT victory speech |
|
what was that....15 now? Good for Sen. Kerry. He is formidable. I'm just shocked he didn't win by the margains he had this weekend in NV and DC. But he got lots of air time for his message and that's important.

18. I think Kerry is suffering from "front-runner-itis" |
|
He's kind of putting me to sleep. There is no passion in his delivery (maybe he's tired), and he's saying the same old lines..., He's playing it "safe". He kind of has the Gore delivery in a way that sounds like he's talking to little children, slow, deliberate, monotone.
I know he can do better, I've seen it. So If he is our nominee, I hope he doesnt fall into the trap of playing it safe and blowing his lead.

25. Timing of the speech? |
|
I was watching the Kerry party and they started playing "Eye of the Tiger" and someone even introduced Kerry, but he didn't come out on the stage.
However, when we see the first few minutes of what I believe would be John Edwards's greatest speech since Iowa (it started out with him saying 'Objects in your mirror may be closer than they appear.' How can it not be great?) and gee, whaddya know? John Kerry decides it's time for him to give a speech...so every network cuts to Kerry and we see him deliver the same...monotone...speech we've seen him give fifteen other times, only this time he talks about some sort of higher education plan that sounds incredibly like John Edwards's "College for Everyone."
I really want to believe this is just some strange coincidence, but there's something about Kerry that I just don't trust. Its taken me a while to decide this, but I really have my own serious doubts about him.
