Tonight I brought cookies to War Protesters in Rochester NH... |
|
...Just a small group standing on a street corner downtown...I'd seen them a few times before but just passed by beeping my horn and waving. So while I was shopping for my new business I bought some cookies for people I admire. Turns out they protest EVERY Friday from 5:30 till 6:30 and have done so for FOUR YEARS....I feel so inadequate to the sacrifice made so long before I saw them there...tonight just 8 people but dedicated as I should have been years ago....So I hope to join them soon...it only takes 8 people in a small city to make a point...

1. We do this where I am too |
|
Some Saturdays when we don't go to D.C. (we're 30 miles away). A busy intersection, some well painted signs and its all you need.
There is a retired teacher in my county who does this 2 sometimes 3 times a week.

3. We do the same in Tiburon. |

We have even had the Town's "Random Horn Honking" ordinance overturned.
It is so cool to see a bunch of wealthy people out raising Cain against Bush's War.
