Rudy has been on every program it seems with non-stop talk time to blast Hilary.
Most Americans get their news from TV.
Her statement read by a non-committal newsperson takes a few seconds. It goes so fast most people will not remember it. Sadly, they will remember Rudy, Ifear.

Please don't reply to me if you only have a useless negative comment about me and where YOU BELIEVE I should be. I think we can all be responsible adults here and share our views about subjects without making it personal, I don't think that is what the site is for.

I just don't think someone making a blanket statement deserves a personal attack or comment directed at me personally. I think DU would rather you comment on the statement instead of a personal attack. I really hope that this is not what the site is about? If you replied about both candidates gaining from the coverage or maybe something that showed me that you believed the political system is on the up and up, that would have been more responsible here on DU. I Like the ability to come here and speak freely without any type of personal attacks to try and censor what I say.
Thats all, no pat on the back or ANYTHING from you is necessary. After this exchange, I would rather not have any conversation with you, I would rather speak with people that believe in respecting others so we can further the democratic process.
Enjoy the rest of your evening. :hi:

Send me some of what you've been smoking. The Giuliani ad is a serious problem for Hillary--the type of thing that is going to play well in the middle. Hillary's comment is wimpy and just what people expect from politicians who don't have anything worthwhile to say. Hillary has badly misplayed this thing.

I'm holding her to the standard she set. Her and her minions have destroyed the entire party in order to build her up, and this is what we get when she's put to the test - a sentence from a staffer. It's absolutely ridiculous. The Clintons don't fight unless they are personally attacked. They are the reason the right has been able to steamroll the entire party and everything we stand for. Nothing matters to them except their personal power.

Kerry isn't my kind of politician, but he knows his stuff. No question about that.
I was referring to her direct response, which was to send a letter to Gates (instead of Edelman), which waws worded strongly, and asserted her right to have the information. That was good stuff.

He's not your kind of politician because he's the only one who even responded to the DSM, and 'only' wrote a letter - yet when Hillary writes a letter it's heavy hitting.
Or he lost because he ran on doing the war better, even though it was HILLARY that was saying that at the time and the media was pushing HER position as the Dem Party position.
Or that it was HER team that leaked the Kerry strategy on Ohio's election.
Did you not read the blog at Huffpost from the partner to her key pollster. They are the ones who want this muddled approach to Iraq legislation.
She has been the problem you've been complaining about.

I know what I saw since Oct 2002, AFTER the vote. I'm shocked that any anti-war Democrat is supporting her. And that's just the beginning of my problems with the Clintons. I understand some people who just read a local paper, or listen to the local news, not understanding what's been going on. But DUers?? pssht. Not one DUer should be supporting her. And the former Deaniacs???? Beyond my comprehension. She destroyed him. She was what they said they were running against in 2003. I don't get it. People baffle me.

29. Here's the word on FR... |
|
Amazily enough BD is more upset than they are. Here is what the repukes are really worried about. "The tables turn on Giuliani on Monday when he becomes the subject of an ad by MoveOn.org, the anti-war advocacy group.
That ad, which will air in Iowa next week, accuses Giuliani of shirking his responsibilities while a member of the Iraq Study Group, formed by President Bush to offer suggestions on Iraq war policy.
***"The former mayor was asked to leave the prestigious committee because of his frequent absences. Rather than meeting his obligation to the group," read a statement about the ad by Eli Pariser, MoveOn.org Political Action's executive director. "Giuliani spent his time collecting high fees for speaking engagements all over the country ... when Rudy had the chance to support our troops, he left them high and dry. Now that's a true betrayal of trust."***
Giuliani Communications Director Katie Levinson has released the following statement about MoveOn.org's forthcoming ad.
"Being attacked by the Democratic character assassination machine MoveOn.org is something Rudy Giuliani will wear as a badge of honor. This is, after all, the same liberal group whose website compared President Bush to Adolf Hitler, the same liberal group that wanted no military response in the aftermath of September 11th and the same liberal group that consistently opposes funding for our troops in the theater of war," the Giuliani campaign statement read."
