when he mentioned the candidates who have visited him at his house she was not one of them.
I think if she was in the general and he didn't get in he would support her in the same way the rest of us who are not thrilled at all with her would but that is all.

3. If he endorses, and I think he might, my guess is he'll endorse Obama. |

I'd be shocked if it were anyone else.

17. I agree. I think a Gore endorsement is a long shot. Unless she gives him one |
|
helluva sweet trade off. What position would he want, though, other than President?
Don't you know that right now Al Gore is the most popular guy not in Washington.

22. Hey, I actually agree with you on something zulch! |
|
If he doesn't run, I hope to the highest heavens above that the next President gets Al Gore to help out with fixing the environment. Things are becoming too critical and Al has amazing credentials (and hopefully a powerful network) in this area.

19. Gore Thought Hillary Clinton Was Too Machiavellian |
|
And she was a major part of why he shunned the Clintons in 2000. He thought the Clintons compromised just about the entire Democratic party to advance their own agenda, all while using liberalism as a convenient prop for making themselves look "moderate." Gore was not the most liberal member of the Democratic party, but he was wise enough to know that throwing red meat to the Republicans by saying "oh no, we're not like those liberal yahoos" was not in the long-term interest of our party.
I can't see an endorsement anytime soon, so let's not bother playing fantasy football with Gore as the Secretary of Energy. The Clintons and Gores simply don't like each other both personally or politically.

And Gore's a natural man, not a politician anymore.
But I hope Al chooses 'hissef!

24. I don't think Gore and Kucinich have much in common at all.... |
|
Gore was the Clinton administration's point-man on NAFTA, even debating the issue with Ross Perot on national TV.
Gore was a centrist, DLC senator. Just because he's an environmentalist, it doesn't mean he's much like Kucinich.

21. I don't think he will make an endorsement |
|
I can't put my figure on why I doubt he will make an endorsement- it's not because I'm optimistic enough to think that it would be because he's definitely getting into the race himself! However, I was surprised he made an endorsement in '03, so it's certainly a possibility he might.
