5. I felt that Spiderman would inspire trust.
He seems to mean well.

6. Yes, but I can't see or hear "Spiderman" without
remembering, back at the end of the 70s, my first son running naked through the house at the age of 2 while the Spiderman cartoon played, singing

"pia-man, pia-man" at the top of his lungs. :D

I know he inspires trust in 2yos, I'm just not sure about adults. And, of course, I think that investing trust in almost any politician belongs in the same realm; with the naive.

7. Well, there's no need for anyone to blame your son for that kind of conduct.

I'm the same way. Any time the "Spiderman" theme plays, no matter where I am, I tear off my duds and streak naked through the streets or building, as the case may be.

Now that's trust.

8. I was a little nervous about attending the recent movies
with him. I didn't have to be, though. He stayed clothed and in his seat for the whole movie.

His influence has been seen, though. His nephew, my grandson, has been a fervent believer in Spiderman since the first showing of the movie. He doesn't streak; he stalks through the house, climbs around on things, and periodically freezes into a crouch, wrists exposed.

If Spiderman says it, it's a universal truth. The grandson periodically insists on being called "Spiderboy."

10. LWolf, I LOVE that story. I'm so glad you took him to see the film.
I saw it with cousins -- we're all getting pretty long of tooth, but long ago we lived through the Silver Age comics era when kids took those superheroes almost literally.

"Spider Boy" eh? That's terrific. Your household sounds like a terrific environment for young folks to be in. Good for you.

9. *snort*
I have video of my two boys running naked around the couch while I sing the Superman theme song during our nightly "No naked boys on the couch" game.

I could maybe trust Superman, just maybe, but I would love to swing around NYC with Spidey.

:hi: Hope all is well with you.

12. Hey there, traveler and keeper of Poseidon's steeds. Warm howdies and
a happy September.

SuperMan? Yeah, he's pretty cool. A darned resourceful individual.

Keep the recording of your singing voice on that Superman theme, MuseRider. Keep it tucked away safe and give it to your young folks in their inheritance. I bet they will very greatly appreciate it.

16. I will! Great idea, thank you.
I am sitting here looking out my office window at my glorious but cold and muddy steeds. For the first time ever I am living where my animals are. It is glorious. Just a short hike up to the barn.

Warm howdies right back to you. I hope your September is a good one. :)

he's still in contention.

Onward & upward!

for crescent wrenches and plywood.

"Need any duct tape with that?"
