The real reason we're staying in Iraq...
<http://www.mercurynews.com/opinion/ci_6910364>

GW's buddy Ray Hunt gets big oil deal ~ this was covered on Friday's Countdown, but they don't seem to have the right video posted on the site now.

Bottom line: instability is what makes these outside deals possible, and keeping American troops in the region ensures instability. Ray Hunt is on the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board, a key oversight body with access to intelligence. "Blood for oil" works for these guys big time!

1. One would rather believe that this sort of thing is not possible, but
then again, the facts are staring us straight in the face. Our national karma is just about to leave the station so to speak.

2. We should think about "suporting the troops' everytime we pump gas in our cars or get oil for homes

5. "Our national karma"
Love that!

I don't know why people aren't completely outraged about this.

3. The Hunts had a hand in JFK's assassination too.
One of them took out a full page ad in the Dallas Morning News that morning calling Kennedy a Trojan horse for communism or some damn thing, I can look up the exact quote if anyone's interested.

Real nice bunch.

4. It's amazing that the Dems just sit back and watch...
Remember Cheney's energy commission? And Halliburton, which has conveniently left the country in a blatant "take the money and run" scheme?? The corruption continues, and still the Dems refuse to impeach. They are enablers. Gravel is right to follow the money ~ what's the Dem pay-off???
