I will tell you that Effie Burt does not have one and in fact is an accomplished singer who has written and performed Iowa's State song 'I'll make me a world in Iowa'. She serves on County and State boards as well as performs for several elected officials and state-wide events. Too bad she had a bad day today.

We saw the majority of Democratic candidates at the IDP Hall of Fame dinner, at the Labor Forum in Cedar Rapids and at the Democratic Debate in Des Moines. We chose, instead of spending the day with 12,000 of our friends in Indianola, that we'd watch it on television.
