Democratic men don't talk about their wives. Most men see their role as providing for the wife, along with the children. Even when a woman works, if it all goes to shit, men see themselves as being the ones to keep the family from homelessness. Democratic men never talk about that relationship. Maybe that's why we're having a disconnect from so many males.

Democrats always talk about making a better future for their children. That is how women see the world.
Men see themselves as needing to protect their entire family, wife included. Democratic men never talk in a way that acknowledges that male world view.
That slight change, if done correctly, could be enough to make a very big shift in the vote. It's like that guy who was at the Chicago event, the injured one. All in the world that mattered to him was that he'd failed his wife, she deserved better. That's the male voice the Dems are missing.
