Holy Campaign Travel, Batman!
From MSNBC's First Read

How busy is it for the candidates on this Monday more than 100 days until Iowa? Consider that Obama starts the day with an economic policy speech at the NASDAQ in New York. Then Clinton unveils her universal health-care plan in Des Moines, IA -- but not before addressing the Laborers’ Union in Chicago (which will also hear from Biden and Edwards). And then Dodd, Obama, Richardson, Clinton, and Edwards (in that order) speak at the SEIU’s political action conference in DC. And that’s just the Democrats…

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/

So Obama in in NY then DC

Dodd & Edwards are in Chicago then DC.

And Hillary goes from Chicago to IA to DC.

1. It's amazing
any of them get through it.

Yesterday, I was watching (on TV) Obama, Clinton and Richardson yesterday working the line after the Harkin Steak Fry and I can't imagine how many endless hours they have to do that, smiling and signing autographs and getting their picture taken. And they do it ALL the time for month after month after month.

Reminds of a Nixon quote: "Sometimes, at the end of the day, when I'm smiling and shaking hands, I want to kick them."

5. I like the lady who asked Obama to sign her 'Hillary' sign!

A woman chastised Elizabeth Edwards b/c Mrs. Edwards had called her on Tuesday (which was our school board elections) and promised to call back - AND HADN'T YET!! x(

Richardson's staff we're warning him that he'd miss his flight if he didn't leave soon and he kept telling them 'one more, just one more second' (hope he made his flight)

And Biden just ignored the rope line and waded into a group of his supporters, lost forever in a sea of white t-shirts

With 12,000 people it had to have been a handshaking, picture taking zoo!

6. They had a debate in Aug that had them up at 4am to get ready.
Its amazing more candidates don't simply succumb to exhaustion.

2. It's crazy, isn't it? I don't know how they do it
It's only 1PM and Hillary's already given speeches in Chicago and Iowa. And I'm still waking up.
