8. Are you kidding? Or, are you serious? |
|
I mean, I'm a Kucinich guy myself. But, having lived most of my adult life in Virginia, I'm convnced that there's no way someone like Kucinich could win that seat. No way.
Webb won that race against Allen because of the word "Macaca," and because he is closer to the center than to the left.

11. No, i'm fairly sure he's kidding. |

Unless wyldwolf has had a sudden change of heart, he's one of more moderate members of DU, a clinton person, as you can see from the avatar.
The humor is much appreciated though, wyld.

There isn't even a ghost of a viable alternative in either party.

5. That's sweet, hopefully Warner's coattails will be long.. |
|
and he'll help carry the Dem Presidential candidate to victory too! He'll make a great Senator IMO.
Not much love for any of the repukes in this state right now...

|
Then he can hit the unemployment line.

17. it will be either andy or gerry connally (county supervisor), imo |
|
Connally might have a slight edge in getting the nomination because he's got a more formal political organization, but I'd like to see Andy Hurst get it.

15. Warner is well liked in VA |
|
And I don't mean just Northern VA, which is much more progressive than the rest of the state. I'm glad he decided to run.

I really believe we can win a much stronger majority in the Senate come 08. This race will be a nice contribution to that effort.
