Great stuff from Snopes about the John Kerry/Jane Fonda picture

As you know, the freepers and other idiotic repukes will try to come up with anything that can to smear John Kerry's image as a respectable candidate to be president. It's obvious from the Matt Drudge report were he fudged a Kerry affair. And the other item making waves through the spam chainmail circles is a photo of John Kerry sitting 3 rows behind Jane Fonda at an Anti-war rally back in 1970.

Idiot repukes will try to convince folks that Kerry and Jane "Hanoi" Fonda (as she is referred to by angry Vietnam Veterans) were anti-war protesting buddies. However SNOPES, the Urban Legend resource center, points out the obvious - the picture was taken several years before Jane Fonda's infamous visit to North Vietnam. Plus a second picture is circulating that shows Kerry and Fonda side by side at a podium protesting sometime circa early 1970. This is nothing more than a photoshopped image to try to continue on the Kerry/Fonda Myth.

My attitude for email spammers who send me this crap is to email back the truth. Keep these links handy for any repuke trying to convince you that Kerry was somehow involved with Jane Fonda's visit to North Vietnam during the Korean war. Nothing makes repukes look more stupid than to have solid facts backing up their crazie lies.

I'm not one to perpetuate the lies of the rightwing mindset; however, when one tries to pull these lies on me it's nice to have the facts handy to show just how stupid they are.
