When will Hillary strike back at Giuliani?
Edited on Mon Sep-17-07 06:30 PM by BlueStater
I'm not a Hillary supporter but I'd really like to see her slam this putz. Rudy's ego is so bloated that he actually believes he can take on Hillary in a battle of wits.

1. Why would she dignify that little piss ant's grab for attention
with a direct response? He is tanking and needs attention? I say starve him instead.

4. She has....on different fronts....
1. Responding Friday to Giuliani's criticism of Clinton, Clinton campaign spokesman Phil Singer said, "Instead of distorting Senator Clintons record in the campaign's first attack ad, the mayor should tell voters why he thinks sticking with the Bush Iraq strategy makes sense.

"The country wants change, and while Hillary Clinton is focused on ending the war, Mayor Giuliani is playing politics," Singer said.

2. A day or so after Giuliani's ad that stated...."who should we listen to....a decorated soldier's commitment to defending America or Hillary Clinton's commitment to defending Move-On.org?", was printed, Hillary Clinton was endorsed by Four Star Gen. Wes Clark (who won our last war).

3. Move-On.org is going after Giuliani's lack of commitment during his tenure on the Iraq's study group.

that ad can be seen here: http://pol.moveon.org/giuliani/
and here http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2007/09/moveonorg_goes.html
and is discussed here http://rawstory.com/news/2007/MoveOn_accuses_Rudy_of_valuing_money_0917.html

I actually think she has hit back hard, and is not done yet....from what I can see.

Considering that the media is allegedly supposed to be promoting her to help her win, they have not yet done their job on reporting on this to us as they are too busy with Greenspan and O.J. Simpson stories for right now.

8. Frenchiecat, this thread could go 100+ replies, and people will overlook your excellent reply
Why? Because it isn't what they want to see.

5. I think Rudy will try to instigate a response so he can weaken her that way,
but I don't think she'll fall for it.

She's amassing a significant tidal wave on a gradual basis -- a wall of water huge and churning -- and Rudy's mocking her like the punk he is from right a thatched grass hut built below sea level.

His back is to the sea.

Rudy doesn't seem to realize it yet but the giant wave building off-shore will make landfall and won't even see little Rudy and his thatched hut there on the beach.

After the wave strikes, in fact, no one at all will see little Rudy and his thatched hut there on the beach.

Ok, you Hillary fans out there. That's my Hillary/Rudy scenario. I'm strongly in the Edwards camp but if your gal beats my guy she's got my vote.

And to hell with that worthless punk Rudy Giuliani.

7. Depends On Who She Wants To Run Against
The Republicans will rally around the candidate Clinton attacks just as most Democrats will rally around the candidate Republicans attack...

I wonder out of Thompson, Romney, and Guliani who the Clinton people least want to run against... I would suspect its Guliani... They now exactly what they need to do to beat Fredrick 90027... Guliani is more puzzling..

9. What would they call this? The Subway Election?
I mean, it's pretty certain that Giuliani will be the Republican candidate; he's the only one standing out among the crowd. And we could be unlucky enough to have Hillary as the Democratic candidate.

It would be two New Yorkers vying to run this country.

I've been to New York. Twice. Seen a lot of it. Do you want people responsible for THAT mess to run the entire country?
