MSNBC's Howard Fineman: How the six major Democratic presidential contenders look in Iowa
Interesting review:

INDIANOLA, Iowa - After knocking around Iowa for a few days and then seeing the six major Democratic presidential contenders speak to a throng of 12,000 eager Iowans at Sen. Tom Harkin’s Steak Fry, here’s my first-to-worst box score on the presidential hopefuls in Iowa:

No surprises for me :)

1. Interesting analysis....
....but remember, Howard Dean was the "fiery" candidate four years ago, and the voters of Iowa thought that was a little freaky.

On the flip side, even though Iowa annointed Kerry in the primaries, they were underwhelmed with him in the general election and went for * instead.

9. Howard the Duck is a Clinton ass kisser? Since when?
During '98, he went on Rush Limbaugh's show and proclaimed 'we' are not a good people, unless the Senate removes Clinton from office.

If you think Fineman is a bonafide Clinton ass kisser, I think maybe you missed a lot of Tweety's shows in the past 10 years.

14. True - but now Bill is BFF with Poppy Bush, and that makes things all better.
Who pays Fineman the big bucks so he can afford his DC mortgage?

10. Ass kisser because she was such a pro and so well received?
I beginning to think you are just a nasty chauvinist sexist.
Your criticisms are never ABOUT anything. :dunce: :hangover:

4. No apologies to Mr. Fineman,
But all that wading through dog vomit went nowhere. Any nugget about how the campaigns were doing were buried in the petty and fairly stupid imaging that was the core of his 'scorecard". He would flunk both as movie critic and sportscaster and definitely earn a black eye from his targets. And that is what the Dems in Iowa are for him. Targets.

"His polish surprised me." The same double edged knife in the back attacked each candidate in turn, wearily according to MSM script. Other than that emulsion there were no facts, no people, no words, no reality. Maybe he does the same for the GOP? In the future when introducing this swill to DU put up his comments side by side with his drooling over the GOP ham sandwiches so we can be informed, ad nauseam, by the full talking point spectrum for the benefit of those who for their own mental health don't read or view the propaganda very much.

6. What the heck?
Biden is still a contender while Kucinich has almost twice as many supporters?

Thanks MSM, don't be too transparent about your support or anything!
