Don't underestimate how big an asset Bill is to Hillary.
Edited on Mon Sep-17-07 10:28 PM by calteacherguy
I was listening to the radio today in the S.F. bay area, and out of the blue comes the voice of our former President promting his new book, "Giving." I couldn't help but think how advertising like that has got to be helping Hillary. It's very smart. No coincidence the book is being promoted now as the campaign season gets into full gear, of course.

It's seems nearly inevitable to me that Hillary is going to be the nominee. I'm starting to be O.K. with that, because I'm looking for positive things to see about her and finding them. Sure, she's not perfect, but she's probably the best shot we have at beating the Republicans, and she'll know how to get things accomplished from day one. She already "knows the ropes." I feel really good about the future of the country today, whether Obama or Clinton gets the nod in the end. I'm 98% certain it's going to be Clinton, though. She just has so much going for her. It will truly be an historic election.

He's the best candidate we got. I'd be concerned if he was running against Bill, but he is not.

4. That's cool. I really like Obama.
If he impresses me even more the next few month I still could vote for him. Both Obama and Clinton have positives and negatives, but they are our two strongest candidates because overall they are our two best candidates.

5. With the current president as a glaring comparison --
I think many Americans long for the closest rendition of the "good old days."

9. I think....no one knows the real Hillary Clinton...
Edited on Tue Sep-18-07 12:16 AM by windbreeze
except possibly Bill...and he isn't giving up much info....she's shrewd and shows a single minded determination..Is that good...well, that depends on how much misery her single minded determination causes for everyone around her...

Yes, I think, IF America elects Ms.Clinton...with the tiniest thought that it's a way to get Bill back into the WH...everyone can pretty much forget that...SHE WILL RUN the show, and he will have next to nothing, to say about anything...

That's why I sincerely hope...that everyone has Hill and Bill separated, and realizes they are not one and the same when it comes time to vote...you are right...it WILL be another historic election....we're making a habit of it...wb

(I know, everyone thinks people are smarter than that...but I know those who voted for Bill twice, simply because they thought he was good looking, and that is NO joke, it's what they told me with a perfectly straight face)
