Nor did the polls take into account 11th-hour criticism of Kerry from President Bush's re-election team.

"We underwent a lot of Republican attacks the last week. Notwithstanding those attacks, we showed we can fight back," Kerry told the AP.

Then Kerry better prepare himself to deflect these attacks.

1. That's One Of My Concerns...
that Kerry's support is paper-thin and can be easily 'moved' with silly attacks. If Matt Drudge can type something as far-fetched as "people are talking about people investigating something people are rumored to have told people" and it hurts John Kerry this much then what will happen when Bushco opens up with both guns?
