What happened to the polls?
President Bush was declining in just about every poll taken in the June to July period. Then, there appeared to be a slight 'bump' for Bush. Now, polling seems to have ceased! Have they tired of misleading folks? Have their deceptions become too obvious to be ignored? Do they think that, if only we just stopped talking about the horrors of this administration and polling about it, those horrors would cease to exist?

Newsweek, who was apparently polling about once per month, if not more frequently, has not issued a poll since 8-1-07.

1. They're all preoccupied with telling us how inevitable
a Hillary Clinton candidacy is by polling a wide sample of people instead of limiting it to Democrats who are likely to vote.

4. Since you want to make this about Hillary, there have been polls from only democrats, and them from
all. BTW She leads in both by huge numbers.

2. yes, I'd really like to see the "bump" from Bush's "screw the people, I'm staying in Iraq" speech.
Wasn't that what was supposed to happen after his eight point jump to 30% post surge/pre speech.

Of course that means he was down to 22%, which wasn't information readily available until after his so called climb.

3. Am I missing something? 3 polls were taken within the last week and 9 polls taken this month.

5. It appears that certain polls were not taken recenly.
In the past, their frequency was greater. Now they poll once every 6 weeks.
