Does anyone here think Al Gore's policies would be substantially different than Clinton's? |
|
For me, this is purely hypothetical, because I don't think there is any chance he will run. I'm just curious what ways people think his policies would be different, since he has so much support here. And yes, I like Gore, although I don't think he's electable at this point.

I certainly can't prove it, but I think that Gore has abandoned being a DLC Republican. Clinton certainly hasn't.

And if Gore were to declare tomorrow, he'd be #1 in the polls.

outside of some people here, I don't sense a real groundswell for Gore. If he DID run, I don't think his chances of getting the nomination would be particularly high.

6. Gore's book Assault on Reason shows his newfound respect for OPEN GOVERNMENT. |
|
Clintons respect closed government - closed government that protects the secrecy and privilege of past administrations and their crimes of office. http://www.consortiumnews.com/2006/111106.htmlHow did that work out for our country in the long run?

7. The difference isn't in their policies; it's in how much I trust their judgement |
|
Since leaving the White House, Gore has demonstrated excellent judgement and leadership on issues like Iraq and global warming. Hillary has not done so, to put it mildly.
