Democrats in congress now viewed almost as negatively as Republicans in congress (Harris Poll)
Edited on Wed Sep-19-07 07:42 AM by antiimperialist
The latest Harris poll on Americans' attitudes about congress and the president for September is alarming (.
The failure by Democrats to force this president to bring our troops home (IMO) has led Democrats in congress to their worst standing since they took over in 2006. 24% of Americans now view Democrats in a positive way, (down 7% since July) compared to 22% for Republicans:

1. Gosh, I wonder why.
They were elected to end corruption and stop the war in Iraq. They have failed to do either.

3. How have they "failed to end corruption"???
Since the Senate Judiciary hearing commenced in Feb, half of the White House staff has been forced to resign, Alberto Gonzales has been forced to resign, and there's a ton of other hearings into other things going on.

So why don't you tell us, once again, how the Democrats have "failed to end corruption"?

2. The main reason I think people are pissed is the Dems have not put up enough....
of a fight. Even if they did not have the votes they should have been much more vocal and exhausted every possible avenue in getting the troops home.
