Clark was in support of the Webb Amendment......and the little RW Vet was against it.

Clark kicked some serious ass in this debate. It was beautiful to behold! Please catch a rerun if you can. Was on at about 2:35, pacific time.

He let this slip inadvertently on one of his past tv appearances. This is probably why he came out with, "General you're wearing your political hat." I'm sure he was told ahead of time to work in that statement.

Wes looked tired. I thought I detected a fleeting moment of fatherly compassion on his face. Maybe he's sad that this guy is so misguided and is so obviously being used.

The general had the last say. He was brilliant to say that the president hasn't asked the country to sacrifice equally for this war. No draft, no taxes nothing. It's all been on the sacrifices of these military families and it's not fair.

They are overtaxed and they need a break. Yes it might be a Congressional strategy to reel back the president, but it's fair. If bushie wants to continue the war then he has to make sacrifices. The coward would rather just use the very last drop of blood those troops have to give.

And fuck those republican bastards that voted against fairness for our troops! Both of our Texas Senators Cornyn and Hutchison voted against fairness for our troops. They're treating them like slaves.

There is a 50/50 chance that a vet who fought in Afghanistan will be running against her. He is in the decision making process right now. As a member of the NC Statehouse, he has been very involved in helping vets and their families. I wonder if this vote will influence his decision.
