Let’s make Obama the next president

I would have to agree with Harold Duebbert in his endorsement of Barack Obama. Since Duebbert is a combat veteran of the Korean War, he has a good understanding of what killing and dying is like and that’s the reason why so many of us are opposed to this unjustified war.

Many of us veterans have opposed this war from the start and also it is the case for Barack Obama to be our next president as he was against this war from the beginning.

Besides being a person of trust and understanding, he is one that is willing to use diplomacy and negotiation rather than to kill — this country need a new clean change for the better.

We need a leader that does not listen to the special interest groups but makes the American people his first priority. What America needs is Barack Obama.

Since no one from the Bush or Cheney family are serving in Iraq in the armed services, I don’t understand why anybody else should be there. If the war is justified that would be one thing, but facts have proven the opposite. The situation in Iraq today is much worse than when Saddam was in control. American troops along with many innocent people continue to die every day. America and Iraq people have not benefited by this war one bit. The only ones to benefit are the special interest groups. Because of George Bush we have lost what friends we had in the world. Because of Waldo’s arrogant and selfish attitude, there isn’t any country that respects us anymore.

It’s really strange that Bush and Cheney are so eager to send our people to war and neither one of those boys did serve in and during the Vietnam war. Numbers don’t add up at all.

What this country needs is to bring all of our troops home now without further American fatalities. For every day there, Americans will continue to be killed. Bush’s selfish policies have been a fiasco and besides that, he is far from being a military genius as time and the facts have proven.

America needs a new hope with honest leadership. Let’s make Obama our next president.
