One question only: WTF are dems going to until Nov. 08 in a state of present paralysis? |
|
Twiddle their thumbs? There is nothing left they can do, because they do not have the courage. The Senate is finished. I won't even care, until January 2009. Good bye Senators, you are as good as dead until 2009. Take a vacation, get out of my sight.

1. No, we should hassle the crap out of them! |

Too bad my Senator and Rep both doing the right thing consistently (Durbin/Schakowski).

2. My Democratic Senator started to edge to the left |

shortly after the Alito cave. He voted for cloture but not to confirm. I think enough of us called his office about his vote for cloture that he realized maybe being a good and obedient servant to the administration wasn't going to allow him to keep his job. Now he's one of the more liberal.
The other Senator, Domenici, is up for reelection. I sincerely hope the state party can find someone to oppose him. He really needs to go. He's been there too long, he's corrupt, and he's a right wing lunatic.
