Poll question: Was the MoveOn.org ad effective?
Edited on Thu Sep-20-07 04:46 PM by 2rth2pwr
Did the MoveOn ad do what it was it intended to do? Did it change minds and put pressure on the Dems to get out of Iraq now?

Or did it unnecessarily distract from the topic of the testimony?

4. I vote to say it wasn't effective in changing minds, but it was effective in
rallying support of MoveOn and the right to free speech.

5. PLEASE restate the questions more simply!

Obviously the Dems are not "on board" but that doesn't mean the ad was no effective. MoveOn has finally turned the subject to "BETRYAL". Frankly, the word "betrayal" is a mild way to describe lies that got us into this mess, and the latest lies to try to make the mess last FOREVER.

8. it didn't really do anything but put pressure on Dems to condemn MoveOn
and gave birth to a waste of air Senate amendment that never should've been allowed on the floor or voted on in the first place

10. The reason MoveOn does such bold things is that...
...the Dems aren't doing bold things ~ to let the condemnation bill come to the floor for a vote was absolutely pathetic on the part of Dems, which of course makes it necessary for MoveOn to keep being bold.

13. Maybe enough Dems were afraid they wouldn't get re-elected...
...unless they spoke out against MoveOn, and the leadership decided to bring the bill to the floor. (Just a guess.)

14. I don't think the ad helped in our cause
people on the fence read that main caption and it pushes them the other way.

20. I think we should just issue a blanket endorsement of whatever BushCo says
Then we'll never be criticized.

Telling the truth was not a mistake.

And having the other side fire back should not be a surprise.

21. Usually when a poll is set up....
people pretty much know there will be an intended outcome. No one says it out loud, though.
