Petraeus out of step with US top brass!
Strange how many "Democrats" in the Senate http://www.commondreams.org/archive/2007/09/18/3985/">voted to condemn the MoveOn ad, even though Petraeus is despised by top military leaders! And you'd think that we would be supporting the military leaders who are at least wary of Bush/Neocons. But no... "Democrats" in the Senate are joining in with the corporate media's Petraeus love fest (i.e. to continue the occupation of Iraq indefinitely).

Read the article below:

By Gareth Porter

WASHINGTON - In sharp contrast to the lionization of General David Petraeus by members of the US Congress during his testimony this week, Petraeus's superior, Admiral William Fallon, chief of the Central Command (Centcom), derided Petraeus as a sycophant during their first meeting in Baghdad in March, according to Pentagon sources familiar with reports of the meeting.

Fallon told Petraeus that he considered him to be "an ass-kissing little chickenshit" and added, "I hate people like that," the sources say. That remark reportedly came after Petraeus began the meeting by making remarks that Fallon interpreted as trying to ingratiate himself with a superior.

4. In part due to the lap-dog senate who unanimously voted for this corrupt political shill of BushCo.
:wtf: is wrong with our Democratic Congress?!?

Don't they realize that 11% is NOT a stellar approval rating?

7. Youngest child Petraeus got all the cookies.
Middle child Fallon doesn't have as many as he wants for his lunch, and he *definitely* won't have any to give his friends if they come over after soccer practice. Petraeus is daddy's favorite, *and* he's the little brother.

And big sister "Chief of Staffs" is concerned because she's the one that bakes the cookies and isn't sure she has time to bake any more. And if they run out, it makes sis look bad.
