5. She said "Democrat party" and "Democrat candidate" like 5 times
Tweety wouldn't call her on it.

2. Didn't he once call out a commentator on his use of "Democrat" as an adjective?
He KNOWS what that's about, yet she used it several times and he was just too enchanted to speak, I guess.

She was being horrid to him as well. You'd think he'd call her on it.

15. I didn't find him enchanted... he was outright pissed
Edited on Thu Sep-20-07 06:30 PM by VolcanoJen
God how I hate to defend Tweety, but yes, he's called out that "Democrat" wordgame before; he didn't look in the mood to give her the satisfaction. He was very pissed when she said, "Didn't you say there should be Exxon logos at Arlington?" He told her it's a legitimate argument, and then he nailed her later when she tried to insist Greenspan never wrote that the Iraq war is all about oil.

I especially appreciated it at the end, when he told her, "I know it's hard to face the truth."

Don't worry, I'm sure he'll do something to piss me off again tomorrow, or maybe by the end of this hour, even. But I thought he handled that hateful loon Ingraham pretty well tonight.

And he apologized. But now he just lets it go, unlike Olbermann who called Bush out on it tonight!

10. I don't think Chris will have her on again for a long while.
She grabbed him by the balls and squeezed his perceived "liberal bias" out of him. My god, she actually said to him that his brother (puke) was more legitimate than him.
Laura's the one who has the balls thanks to her new book "de-boo-ing at number 1.

I think she has passed Limpbaugh as the "CarryBushWater-inChief."
About your masochistic point, maybe Vitter will donate his whip collection to Tweety.

22. Well Chris disturbs me period....but in terms of his handling of
this GOP whore in this particular segment, I'd say she looked dumber than he did after all was said and done....which means it was a good segment for the Democrats (and there ain't too many of those on that show).

He kept repeating....."Greenspan said this was a war for oil"....

she kept saying...."no, he didn't say that"....

and he kept saying..."he did write that, and we will be reading that part of the book out loud"....

and she kept saying..."no, Greenspan didn't say this was a war for oil, and anyways he retracted that"...

and Chris kept saying...."Greenspan did say it, and he wrote it, and that's what he meant"....

29. Olbermann made up for it!
He went off on Bush for his childish use of "Democrat" Party during the presser today. Something about showing a little respect, while you're complaining about your guy (Petraeus) not getting any respect.

Oh, how I love me some Keith! :-)

33. I saw a clip of her asking why women aren't having larger families
yet she is a single/childless middle aged woman, so if she's wondering why there are no longer large families, she needs some mental help.

If these right-wing females criticize feminists, then their problems start with self-loathing and should just end their own misery.

36. where did these hateful blond harpies
come from: Laura, Ann and Barbara -- may she not rest in peace Olsen?!

You'd have thought that Laura's brush with breast cancer would have mellowed her a bit, but pure evil reigns in her.

I cannot say what thoughts crossed my mind when she appeared on the TODAY show this AM talking rudely and wrongly all over Eli Pariser (MoveOn), but needless to say I turned it off and refuse to watch Tweety at all, ever.

Reruns of the Golden Girls (too bad we don't have a Sophia Petrillo in the Senate) and Reba on Lifetime Channel are so much better for the blood pressure.

38. She had some stormtrooper rally
here in Omaha a few days ago. She started and ended it with John and Yoko Lennon's "Power to the People". That bitch shouldn't be allowed to use that song. It's just not right. It's like J Egdar Hoover using Bob Dylan or the Grand Wizard of the KKK using Marvin Gaye songs. Reprehensible.
