For those of you who think I don't like Biden
Let me tell you I think he is the most qualified of the Dem bunch for the job, including my candidate.

He would be a great president and I would vote for him with no problems if he wins the nomination. In fact, I would root for him quite hard. It's just that I think he has a very strong arrogant side that he should control.

Still, I like the guy more than what you think.

1. I like Biden too, but I really think he comes off as sort of "used car salesman"-ish

2. Biden says a lot of good things but is doing nothing to
'really' back his words up. He and everyone in the Democratic party should be screaming for impeachment. He should be calling for all Americans to march on Washington and take this country back. :dem:

3. I didn't pick up that you didn't like Biden actually
and you've started some interesting debates, something we really need right now. I think we all need to stop and really examine each of the candidates, minus the MSM hype, even if we've already have a preference.

4. I don't think that you dislike him, I think you overreacted to what he said.

I do not find him arrogant, he is outspoken and tells it like it is and that is one of the reasons I like him. This is not a time for tip toeing around.

5. Biden is full of good raw Presidential material resume-wise, but he has big personality
flaws that get in his way. He's too vain, and sometimes he seems to act overly dramatic and ham it up for the cameras--loves to hear himself talk. I think he has a mean/jealous streak also that's hard for him to hide. But he does have a good sense of humor, and his heart is usually in the right place. I think he's a good, bright person, just not sure he has the right personality to be President.

6. that's ridiculous
Biden doesn't have a big ego, he's just more knowledgeable than all the other candidates and isn't afraid to show it. I guess that means he's "arrogant" right? All of you Obama fans seem to be fetching for excuses not to like Biden even though in the back of your mind you know he would make a WAY better president than any of the other nominees, probably because you jumped on the Obama bandwagon too early before you learned that Biden is actually the man with the substance to be the best president. Please look Biden over, his plan for iraq and other issues, and reconsider who you're supporting. He would also absolutely wipe the floor with the republicans in a general election.

7. I have to laugh when Obama supporters talk about Biden's big
personality.

I don't want to get into it with you about Obama - but -
I can make you a long list of times when I was taken aback by his ego and his vanity.

10. I guess certain people rub certain people the wrong way. Obama
has a big ego too--I know that. But for whatever reason, it doesn't bother me--maybe because he just has it under better control. Biden's ego and vanity just jump out at me--he is sometimes a little buffoonish, and I think that's why he doesn't get the respect from the media that a Senator in his position would normally get. The "clean and articulate" comment never sat well with me--not because I thought it was all that racist, but taken in context, he just seemed jealous and disdainful of Obama. Now, the Senate and the Prez race are naturally full of arrogant ego-jobs on both sides--he is hardly alone. I'm just guessing it's one factor in why he didn't start out in the top tier, despite his smarts and straight-talking ways.

13. Clean and articulate -
Even Jesse Jackson knew what Biden meant.
But I do agree that it effected how Biden started out this race.

I *sincerely* doubt that Biden is jealous of Obama.

When Obama blamed Biden for blowing it at the Petraeus hearing - that was a bit over the top for me.
Everyone had a good laugh over that. Someone even posted about it today at HuffPo.
That is just one example of Obama's ego.

Bill Clinton & John Kerry didn't start out in the top tier either. Poll numbers mean nothing right now.

11. For Those of You Who Think I Don't Like Biden, YOU'RE RIGHT!
I will not forgive him anytime soon for slipping the Rave Act through in the conference committee in the dead of night with no chance for anybody to vote on it! :grr:

If he somehow wins the Democratic nomination, I will hold my nose and vote for him in the general election, but that is ALL I would do for him.
