Poll question: If Hillary loses the primary, what should she do next?
I'll ask this about the other candidates so don't worry.

1. Sit down with Barbara Bush and discuss the good old days when Bushes and Clintons
could manipulate their parties and world events without getting caught.

22. heh - Clinton and Joe were never apart on terrorism and Iraq support for Bush.
The difference is that she let him do most of the talking about it from 2001-2006 and then she had to come out and pretend she opposes Bush and is now FOR withdrawal for only one reason - her primary race.

2. hillary is much more suited to majority leader than president.
I don't think she will be a good president at all but, her love of battle and fighting makes her natural for putting the spines back in the democrats that they lost so long ago and go to war with the repukes there.
Much more effective in the senate than in presidency.

10. Um...can you name a senate battle she led on the last 6 years? Or any battle
she led against Bush and the GOP the last 6years?

Maybe she and her team ARE THAT GOOD, and chose to NOT use their skill to battle Bush these past 6yrs, but to undermine any Democrat who was opposing Bush these past 6years. Gee - I dunno - but since they're so FAMOUSLY EFFECTIVE - then - - why did they hold back when Bush needed opposing from every Democrat who had those skills?

6. What should any of them do?
Biden will stay in the Senate - he's got a good thing going there.
Probably Dodd too.

Obama? Would he stay?

Hillary would be a much better Majority Leader than Elmer Fudd.

8. I'll ask the same question about all of them, so we'll find out
what DUers think. The options will vary for each of them, though.

11. And then you should send it to each of them -
Dear Senator xxxxx,

After you lose the nomination, we have decided that you should ------.
Please review the attached poll.

Sincerely,

9. So far, 65% think she should pursue the Senate Majority Leadership. Interesting.

13. Well, to be fair...
I voted for that option too, but just because I think she should stay in the senate. Senate Majority leadership is entirely possible, but since they're bundled together, that's the one i voted for.

15. Take Bill to KFC; they can both chow down and get lips and eyebrows
greasy, saucy--whatever. Good ol' downhome aphrodisiac. Good riddance, hopefully.

16. If Senator Clinton is not the nominee and whoever is wins the White House,
I believe she would make a provocative appointee to the U.S. Supreme Court.

She'd be an extremely reliable vote in support of Roe v Wade and it would piss the Far Right off beyond belief.

18. Yeah. I kinda doubt she'd be interested, especialy now since she's got the
lead for the prez nom.

But were she to lose the nomination she might yet decide to make history in other ways, and the next generation could become the Hillary Clinton era in U.S. Supreme Court history.

21. Search for some kind of quantum stargate-like portal or wormhole -
to find a way back here from the alternate reality into which she will have fallen? She's NOT going to lose the primary on THIS plane of existence.
