Hillary has led every democratic presidential poll for over 4 years
The funny fact that people forget when they say that Howard Dean was leading all the polls in the Fall of 2003 as this is some evidence of Hillary's vulnerability is that Hillary was beating Dean at that time by almost 4 to 1!

4 years later, not much has changed, has it?

December 10, 2003

Clinton 42%
Dean 14%
Kerry 5%

You know, he has a nice voice. I actually feel a little bit sorry for him....He didn't realize how evil this *bush administration was when he got involved. He is someone who is a true conservative, and that is okay with me.....He entered the "den of corruption" under good intentions and in full blown denial. He only figured it out when he was high on morphine as Gonzo tried to steal his authority for criminal intent.

I know there is sooo much dynamic leadership within her! I have excellent intuition. It went high on the scale when I met her last May! I went into the The State Democratic Event with friends, all excited about Edwards............then, I saw the power of Hillary. Only she can conquer this army of trolls spawned by *bush!

Here is the link to my Thread referring to when I had the "Awakening". Scroll through for pictures too.

161. And your anecdotal evidence is proof? How?
just because you have "many in practice" does not prove anything more than the fact that you may be projecting your own misgivings about her to others. I on the other hand find that most everyone I speak to finds her a powerful force in the Democratic party. (but that proves just about as much as your anecdotal evidence: zero)

28. Let's get this really clear.
Hillary Clinton is not a progressive.

She is not widely popular except in the wholly owned media and among her paid shills.

We all know that.

If you choose to make yourself ridiculous by claiming she is popular or progressive, well, everyone needs a hobby.

And I am not desperate. But certainly my children will be if I don't continue to fight for progressive values.

Is that completely clear to you? (Rhetorical.)

My dad told me years ago "When you start namecalling in a dicussion you justifiably lose your credibility."

Calling those who disagree with you "losers" doesn't reflect well on you, FYI. I hope the Admins start giving the Mods orders to delete this regular flow of name calling and the like. It's getting out of hand and it seems to be just a handful of regular participants who are unable to keep it civil.

131. My dislike isn't logical...
but it IS very deep seated.

I like Edwards
I like Obama
I like Kucinich

Do I know who I'm going to vote for? Not yet.
Do I know who I'm NOT going to vote for? Yeap.

I know without a shadow of a doubt, that there are many people who feel the same way I do about Hillary Clinton. With each and every new performance, my dislike grows on an exponential level.

I have disliked her for a very long time. Do I respect her? Yes, she's accomplished a lot. Do I admire her? No, but I do admire her tenacity in the face of adversity.

I'm sure she has many great things about her, but frankly I just can't see them. This person brings a deep visceral response out of me that just won't quit. I'm not going to bash anyone, call any names. I'm not going to resort to saying "Ohhhh mines better than yours!"

It's very simple, I have no feelings but pure unadulterated dislike bordering on disgust when I hear her speak or see her on the television.

I sincerely wish I could point to something and say "This...THIS is why I don't like her" But I can't, for that...supporters of Mrs Clinton, I genuinely apologize and do have all the best well wishes and support for your convictions. Just please understand, that if I feel this way others do too and nothing you do or say will change that sadly enough.

155. Let me see if I can clear this up for you.
Since you can't seem to read what is in plain english..let me dumb it down for you as you got that I was "oddly pleased with" myself.

I apologized to HRC supporters for my LACK of reason in my dislike.

Definition of apology: Meaning #1 applying.

a·pol·o·gy /əˈpɒlədʒi/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun, plural -gies.

1. a written or spoken expression of one's regret, remorse, or sorrow for having insulted, failed, injured, or wronged another: He demanded an apology from me for calling him a crook.

As a matter of fact, you can RE read my post...perhaps this time you can pull out of there that I do respect the things she's accomplished, and I do admire her tenacity.

However on a deep seated personal level, I DO NOT LIKE HER.

Now, if I had "internalized fifteen years of incontinent slander against her" wouldn't I be able to point at that same slander and state "These are reasons 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 I don't like her." ?

Yeap.

Now for the dumbing down to you.

She aint in no ways tired...I's jus simply dislike her fakery (refrence her most insulting and foolish attempt at approaching southerners)

Glad to have cleared that up for you. Pleased with myself? Nope. Pleased that we have other GOOD people to vote for besides HRC? Yeap.

156. Perhaps you need to clear up that "deep seated personal" thing you have going on.
It would truly scare me if I have anything "deep seated" controlling my actions that I could not articulate to myself.

Not that there aren't people that I dislike - - but I know why.

157. Have you never met or seen someone....

That strikes you as 'Wrong'?

I tell you what. I'm not above going over my own flaws, and you do have a point in being able to articulate. I don't like the fact that I can't point out why. So I'll work on figuring that out. Who knows, maybe it'll change my veiws...maybe it won't. But at least I'll be able to be clearer about it.

In the past I've never really dissected my feelings on this particular person, because she DOES have such a deep effect on me.

I'll take the time to do that tonight. A good cup of coffee, a notebook and a pen.

159. The best shill for corporations ever
Let's keep killing 18,000 a year by denying them health care to fatten the profits of insurance companies.

145. There were January/February 2004 polls where Kerry beat her
Kerry got no positive coverage until the January Rassman Reunion, which had a major impact on how people viewed him. Then he had coverage after winning Iowa.

148. What does this mean to me?
To me, it shows that most of these polls were mindless name recognition, and most still are at this point.

154. Polls and Fox news.
Need I say more?

Have you seen the post here about how they don't even include Kucinich in the polling questions?

158. I was previously going back and forth between Edwards, Obama, and Kucinich. In
fact I have given small amounts to all three campaigns, but this post has made me favor Senator Clinton. No matter, Kucinich has the best platform and either of the other two could win the Presidency. No matter, I think her nomination will be a disaster for Democrats. She has led in polls so I must support her.
