This only because of my tendency to like every single piece of legislation that has ever been presented to Congress and because the media have not a single farthing of intelligence it takes to ascertain what, if anything actually happens in Congress.

I still don't yet understand what's stopping the democratic Senate leadership from just simply shutting off the bank that the other branches need to function. There is no reason for allowing rrepubs to dictate things now that they don't have control of the governmental wallet.
