Wouldn't that satisfy those who are so terribly concerned that some potential nominees would upset the Republicans so badly that it would energize their base to turn out and vote?

Well, Lieberman wouldn't scare them a bit - they'd be thrilled. And if Lieberman were the nominee, I'll bet that plenty of Republicans would stay home since it wouldn't matter to them if Lieberman or the Republican won - six of one, half a dozen of the other.

"Lieberman 2008: He Won't Upset the Republicans!"

:sarcasm:

3. Yeah, and why don't we give statehood to Israel too. That'd
show them Arab bastards. Think of all the business China would get making those 51 star flags. The red, white, blue and light blue, hurrah! This is in the Bible, right? :sarcasm:

I'm not interested in engaging in this kind of inter-party candidate hatefest. Please direct it to someone else.

Thank you.

7. Yes, I did start this thread - and I'd rather it not be hijacked by yet another candidate-bashing
diatribe. Of course, I don't have any control over what you or anyone else posts, but I'm not going to participate in that crap.

The fact that you are trying to start that mess in this thread helps to confirm the very point I was making in the first place.

11. So many dems act like abused scared mice when it comes to the repukes
Being afraid of a crumbling party, with shitty candidates, and an apathetic base

is embarrassing. Sadly many of these mice live in our party:crazy:
