4,098 soldiers, 80K Iraqi civilians dead. Thank you, Code Pink,
for standing in opposition to this slaughter, for holding all politicians accountable for it.

Lives are on the line. While politicians play games, more people die. I am grateful to Code Pink, and to all, who will not be silenced while these lives are spent for political purposes.

The Code Pink Mission Statement:

<snip>

CODEPINK is a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the war in Iraq, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education and other life-affirming activities. We reject the Bush administration's fear-based politics that justify violence, and instead calls for policies based on compassion, kindness and a commitment to international law. With an emphasis on joy and humor, CODEPINK women and men seek to activate, amplify and inspire a community of peacemakers through creative campaigns and a commitment to non-violence.

That's a mission to take pride in, and one I am glad to support in every way I can.

To the women and men of Code Pink, keep up the good work! :yourock:

4. Yes. I went with the conservative number,
which is still horrific enough for me. :(

2. Kick
Peace and justice, what great ideas, which have nothing to do with conservative values.
