The NYC corrections officers' union, one of the largest municipal jail unions in the country, has announced that it will endorse Barack for president.

From the AP:

"Barack Obama is the one candidate who will put an end to the divisiveness in this country so that we can finally achieve greater economic prosperity for the working class and health care coverage for all Americans," said Norman Seabrook, the president of the city's Correction Officers' Benevolent Association. The group has about 9,000 active members.

Stay tuned for more big endorsement news today...

It's not NY Corrections Union and its not the former Iowa Dem Chairman...both have already been announced. Tthis blog was release after both those announcements were made.
