The Intelligence of the Democratic Field |
|
I think it is amazing that we have such a brilliant field...
Hillary Clinton - perhaps the smartest person to ever run for the office
Barack Obama - can turn anything to gold with his speaking style. A professor, a lawyer, and just effing brilliant
John Edwards - another sharp speaker with the quickest mind I've ever seen
Bill Richardson - expert on diplomacy, energy, science, and executive functioning
Joe Biden - never a man alive with more policy experience or insight
Chris Dodd - the whole history of the Senate rules are in that man's head
I mean... I dont think theres a person on the stage with an IQ below 160. They are all staggeringly intelligence with the exception of Kucinich and Gravel which strike me as a bit featherbrained.
Compare that with the Republican lineup and picture how they will (any one of them) will run circles around them in the debates. Its gonna be glorious.

I mean... either way, we're talking about the two smartest people I've ever seen in politics.
Barack Obama is just stunningly intelligent. He can probably move things with his mind.
Hillary Clinton is a different sort of smart. She has this familiarity with issues and plays chess with everything she does. Barack Obama uses his intellect like an artist, Hillary Clinton uses hers like a scientist.

3. Anything Gavel and Kucinich lack in brains they make up for in heart. |
|
Actually, I don't think either of them is any less bright than the others, but even if they are, Gavel makes up for it with curmudgeonly courage and Kucinich with brotherly love.
