Thompson is the most willfully uninformed and ignorant SOB out there. Watching him trying to handle questions without a script in his hand would be entertaining.

7. As of this morning, Tom Joyner reported that none of the top....

tier candidates would be in attendance. No McCain, no Romney, no Ghouliani & no Thompson (after he'd promised). Tavis Smiley says they're still going to have podiums there for each of them, to let everyone see that they were dissing black voters....AGAIN!

I think their refusal to appear at a debate at a predominately black university speaks volumes about the GOP's ethics and values. They might talk the talk some times but it is something totally different when it comes time to walk the walk.

9. I'll be damned if I can figure out the strategy here.....

So far they've refused to appear before a Latino audience, a Gay audience & a Black audience. I think this will surely hurt them with Independent voters. I realize that during the primary season candidates usually run to the base, and to the center in the general, but this is a dangerous strategy for them. IMHO.
