Edwards/ Dean is this a possibility? |
|
This would certainly be a more reformed minded ticket and it is pretty well geographically balanced. I don't know if Edwards would go with this and also Dean ( I am/was a supporter) has looked overly desperate in face of the fact that he cannot as things stand now win the nomination. But he would bring a loyal bas of supporters and pretty good fund raising organization.

unfortunately, the press has smeared Dean so badly that it would be a liability for Edwards. Don't get me wrong, I believe Dean resurrected this party, but perception is very difficult to erase.
What would be possible is having Dean part of the cabinet, surgon general, or secretary of Health, education, and welfare.
Time will see
Good luck

3. Can't keep blaming everyone else |
|
Dean is responsible for his fall. I liked him a lot but then I found him to be mean spirited. I'm sorry but even last night he came across as disingenuous.

5. A lot of people have a level of discomfort with passion. |
|
Dean is passionate. The people in his state voted for him several times, even when his poll numbers were down.
Dean doens't have a mean bone in his body.
He is one of the most passionate candidates around. Look at how the people of Ohio have voted time and again for Dennis Kucinich, a very passionate person.
We haven't had a passionate candidate in so long, that we are not able to recognize the difference.

4. I don't buy your arguement against such a ticket. |
|
If previous Dean supporters loved his message, his passion and honesty, but were concerned about his electability, then pairing up with Edwards solves the electability problem.

I would pay big money to see Dean take on Cheney in a debate.

With my guy appearing to suspend his campaign today, it would be awesome if my number two choice (Edwards) would choose him as VP. They would make the ultimate good cop/ bad cop team ... the Lethal Weapon of politics.
Although it would look unseemly for Edwards to be shaking his head and muttering "I'm getting too old for this shit" :pals:
