1. Why wouldn't he have to?

Are you assuming we'll lose control of the Senate?

Wait on edit, sorry... we already lost control when Lieberman came out of the corporatist warmongering closet...

So... are you assuming we won't get control of the Senate?

2. i think he belives what he states and
he will work to deliver those promises. He is a man of conviction but it remains to be seen if he gets elected and if the house and senate will go along with his policies.

3. Beyond that, I think he makes grand statements knowing...
that he will have no trouble being re-elected in his heavily Democratic district. Kucinich would either not be Kucinich or not be a politician at all if you put him in most other Congressional districts across the country.

Kerry wins Cuyahoga County with 67% in 2004

http://www.usatoday.com/news/vote2000/cbc/ohcbc.htm
Gore wins Cuyahoga County with 65% in 2000

That's solidly Democratic in my book, thankyouverymuch.

world a better place. It's a shame he won't get a chance to deliver because he's "disappeared" in the media and written out of polls.

31. You are blaming Kucinich for Congress' failures?
Kucinich is doing what he can in our Congress, but considering how many of them are corrupt, he frequently stands alone.

Kucinich is one of the only ones doing his job, the rest are miserable failures and need to be replaced.

34. I actually have to give this one to wuushew.
It seems that CNN stopped counting when Kerry got enough delegates to secure the nomination:

On March 11, 2004, CNN's delegate survey found Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry had enough delegates (pledged and unpledged) to clinch the Democratic nomination. The count on this page represents CNN's total for each candidate through March 11.

17. No, he's talking from the heart.
I realize those content with rhetoric and bullshit confuse that for some kind of political inadequacy or some such negativity, but Kucinich appeals to our higher sense of decency which explains why some just don't get it. Even though I am convinced Kucinich cannot win the nod, I still respect him for being our conscience and provoking the viable contenders with the unvarnished truth.

30. Kucinich is already delivering on his campaign promises
He has already introduced legislation in the House of Reps for Not For Profit Universal Health Care- well thought out plan, perhaps you should read it.

Kucinich has already introduced legislation in the House of Representatives, bipartisan legislation with Ron Paul and Walter 'Freedom Fries' Jones to get the troops out of Iraq.

Kucinich has already been working for the American people, it is our US Congress that is sorely lacking.
