I would assert that "Hypocritical GOP family values" and "Government agency in charge of X doesn't support/control X (presumably in violation of their mandate)" are vitally important issues and hallmarks of how badly the Republickers (and their Democratic co-conspirators) have damaged this country; addressing these concerns are vital.
I would also assert that "Other Dem candidate isn't Dem/lib/progressive enough" is of equally pressing concern as we look forward to the primary season. If a Democratic candidate is insufficiently Democratic/liberal/progressive, why bother voting for said candidate in the first place?

when we make talk about Craig's wide stance....that's not a critical issue.
When we talk about the Anti-gay 'agenda' of the GOP, that is a critical issue.
When we talk about the AUSA in Florida riding off to have sex with a toddler, that's not a critical issue. When we talk about the AUSA pandering to the religious right, that is a critical issue.
