Forget your fellow posters and whether they want to bomb Iran
What about Obama?

Given the continuing war in Iraq, the United States is not in a position to invade Iran, but missile strikes might be a viable option, he said. Obama conceded that such strikes might further strain relations between the U.S. and the Arab world.....

"On the other hand, having a radical Muslim theocracy in possession of nuclear weapons is worse. So I guess my instinct would be to err on not having those weapons in the possession of the ruling clerics of Iran. ... And I hope it doesn't get to that point. But realistically, as I watch how this thing has evolved, I'd be surprised if Iran blinked at this point."

As for Pakistan, Obama said that if President Pervez Musharraf were to lose power in a coup, the United States similarly might have to consider military action in that country to destroy nuclear weapons it already possesses. Musharraf's troops are battling hundreds of well-armed foreign militants and Pakistani tribesmen in increasingly violent confrontations.

Obama said that violent Islamic extremists are a vastly different brand of foe than was the Soviet Union during the Cold War, and they must be treated differently.

Obama the War-Monger?

4.  That's from 3 years ago and he's talking about a hypothetical, if everything else failed and Iran
was shown to be pursuing nuclear weapons.
That makes him a "War-Monger"?
What a BS post.

7. It was an inflammatory post to show the ridiculousnous of some here today
who are proclaiming that if you say Ahmadinejad is a bad dude= "fuck him lets attack."

The idea that military attack should be taken off the table so we can "talk" is very dangerous.

It's funny though when people advocating that approach are confronted with their own candidates words they rush in to defend them. Yes Al Qaeda is there and they are also in Iraq.

Even now Obama is using the euphemism "Real Pressure". "Now is the time for tough and sustained diplomacy backed by real pressure," Senator Barack Obama of Illinois said http://www.boston.com/news/nation/washington/articles/2007/09/24/lines_harden_over_iran_leaders_visit_to_us/?page=2

8. Sorry, I missed all that ridiculousness
Or maybe I should be glad.

Still, I do wish people would make it clearer that their post is satire. This seems to happen alot around here, where one person will post a ridiculous post in order to mock a previous post. Unless you've been following all the posts throughout the day, it's hard to figure it out.
