Do we understand that a campaign plan is nothing more than a promise to present congress with |
|
a proposal. Does anyone believe it will survive unchanged or even put up for consideration. Why are we getting bent out of shape over different versions by the candidates?

1. Others working in the executive office are also important |

Not only will we get a good Democratic leader but say goodbye to the likes of BushCo's entourage. I agree, it's about more than just one person filling the office.

3. To me, it seems like some think it is already law if their candidate gets elected. I don't have |
|
much confidence that we understand the process of government.

4. Apparently not-- far too much time is... |
|
spent analyzing "plans" as if they will actually see the light of day.
A plan is just a plan, and it will be changed. A lot.

5. Most importantly, have you seen ANY plans from the repukes? |
|
Good, bad or otherwise. Almost daily one of our fine candidates stand up with plans for healthcare, education, jobs and peace. Compare to the Pukes plans. Tax cuts? More wars? Bans on gay rights? Doubling Git'mo?
Please.
When people want to stay home rather than vote for a Democrat, they have lost perspective. It's not about the candidate. It's about the people and a movement. A Democrat will be a helluva lot more receptive to change and progressive goals than any of those half-rotten corpses they are propping up on the reich side.

6. I agree, we should be thanking our candidates for bring the issue of Health Care to the fore and |
|
asking our Reps in Congress(especially the GOP) which proposal they will support.

the problem lies with a few of the candidates who are trying to distinguish themselves as having the first, or the best, or the most likely to succeed, plan. But I agree with you that every candidate's stated platform will be changed before any of it gets passed by congress.
