Is the hope for HRC's high negatives to evaporate? |
|
The few polls out there that really concern me are the ones that supposedly find numbers like 44 percent who will definitely not vote for HRC.
Unless it were Joe Momementum, I will most likely vote for any Democrat that wins the nomination, but I wonder, does the HRC camp believe if she does win the nomination, once the nation starts to look more closely at her, especially those that are the non-die hards, are they expecting her high negatives to drastically drop?
Does her high negatives concern others or is it a non-story?

3. I thought her negatives dropped into the 30s about |
|
three weeks ago. Non-story - as more people start to pay attention to the debates, etc. they find out their preconceived notions are garbage. As someone said months ago - Hillary is the most famous least known person in America.

4. I don't expect they will .... |
|
But IF another candidate rises above HRC and captures the nomination, expect THEIR negatives to rise quickly ..... The 'Swift Boat' compliant media will quickly have them smashing apple pies and singing the Star Spangled Banner off key ....

5. Whoever the nominee is will have negatives at that level by this time next year |
|
The nominee will inherit the full thrust of the Republican Swift Boat attack machine.

6. you know I'm not sure I would vote for her |
|
And normally when it comes to a decision between a dem and a repub (when do we ever get any real choice otherwise?) I go Dem.
But Clinton simply doesnt' do it for me. She seeems to too politically motivated in what she does and i am not sure she would be any better then a Republican.
This doesnt' mean I will vote Repub (unless they somehow ressurect TR) but just how often am I expected to hold my nose?
Sorry to the Clinton fans, but I really hope she doesn't get the nomination.

I thought the whole point of democracy was youvoted for who you wanted, ,not just who happened ot belong to any particular party.
If Edwards or Obama or Kucinish or the any of the others win, i will vote for them (especially Edwards).
But I tire of being told I HAVE to vote for anyone becuase they have D by thier name. That reasoning is as bad as freepers and you should nt be engagingin it.

Ok, since when is expecting a canidate to support the same positions you do "whining"
great, you just lumped everyone who ever protested or wrote a letter to thier congressperson or highlighted a politican's voting record or held a Democrat to the same standerds as they hold Republicans as "whiners".
No dear trajen. That isn't Whining. It's called Democracy.
and then we have this...
This IS a website that professes support for Democratic party candidates
And I do support Democrats..that support my values and aren't DINO's or DLC shills or are going to betray the peopel who voted them into office.
Support does not mean blind obedience or being an ideologue. Why shouldn't I hold Hillery to t he same standerds I hold for McCain or Romney or Edwards or Kucinich? If I dont' feel that Hillery Clinton would make a good president and dont' want to vote for her and would rather some other person got the nomination (those people right now all being Democrats), that's my God damn RIGHT.
So dont' lecture me about Democracy.

except I feel she is far to motivated by major corporations, especially in the medical industry. Besides she still supports the war by not making any REAL moves or statements to end it.

10. Give Biden a look, but not because... |
|
... of HRC's high negatives. Biden is actually the best candidate with a nearly-indefensible record of bipartisan accomplishment in the senate.

12. The Big Guns Haven't Even Levelled on HRC As Yet . . . |
|
. . . once they do, she will go down like the Titanic.
The woman is simply unelectable.
Biden is the best choice as he can win in 35 or 40 states--and this country desperately needs to put an end to this plague of bickering.

15. As long as her neagtives stay in the low 40's she should be fine. |
|
If she can keep her net approvals in the 80's with Democrats and get on the positive side with independents(usually around 0%) she should be fine.
