Did you know that Ben Franklin was a terrorist-loving traitor? |

A small group of Freeper types was handing out material today, and I crossed paths with them on the way back from lunch. One of the group hands me a glossy, expensive looking tri-fold pamphlet on what "true Americans" can do to help protect this country from foreigners and other evil-doers. I took it, looked at it and saw that one of the first items was to contact my Congress-critters and ask that they give their full support to President Bush's efforts to allow warrantless spying. I handed the guy back the pamphlet and quoted Benjamin Franklin:
"Those who would give up essential liberties for the sake of a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
He sneered and asked which of my terrorist loving traitor friends had said that. I told him.
I could not have wiped that smirk from his face faster if I had used an industrial strength sand-blaster. :toast:

Thomas Jefferson Tom Paine Sam Adams John Hancock Richard Henry Lee Caesar Rodney John Adams Roger Sherman
and 48 others that affixed their names to that treasonous document.
Many of them were not just terrorist lovers, but actual terrorists. :kick: & R
